What is a Amateur Radio Operator?
As an Amateur Radio(HAM) operator, you talk by two-way radio
with other hams. Anyone can be a ham – no matter what age, sex, or
physical ability. Ham doesn't have to cost much. Your Station can
be held in your hand or take up a corner in your bedroom, and even
in a corner of your basement. There are many ways to Communicate
they are Voice, CW(Morse code), HF, VHF, UHF, Computer and
even Digital radio, to name a few.
Ham radio operator comes in all ages.


Young people communicate in may ways-by cellphone, internet,
music, and even through sporting evens, clothing styles and more.
Here's another way you can communicate. You and your friends
can make friends across town and around the world. Young hams
are active in Scouting, community radio clubs, and school radio
clubs all other the US. Amateur Radio is an exciting hobby that
let you meet new people of all ages-and have a great time and fun!
As an amateur radio operator it is fun and exciting to talk to
other amateur radio operators throughout the world and have fun in
contests. We also participate in an event called field day each year.
Field Day is to practice our skills in setting up portable field station
to use in the event of an emergency and compete between other ham
operators. Hams help out with walks, races and more public service
events. This may also help out shy people to make a lot of friends
